The ad said, “Slip into total comfort” and that got my attention. There were all different types of slippers in the flyer that I got, but the Microsuede Clog Slippers caught my eye, because of the low heel, making it easy for me to slide them on. I will only use them around the house when I kick back and relax and they should provide just the right amount of warmth for my feet. They are 50% off now, they come in my size and I have a choice of two colors, either black or brown. I live in Florida, so I don’t wear socks and these will come in handy if the nights get cold.
They have an acrylic fleece lining and a padded footbed with memory foam. It says that they are imported, which means that they were probably made in some sweatshop on the other side of the globe that uses child labor. Oh well, as long as I am comfortable.

Yes, comfort is very important.

I feel bad about the child slavery that may have been used to make these slippers, but I need comfort at the right price.

Yes, child labour is tragic. There is so much poverty here that children are forced to work. It is as if there is no solution to it.

I could go with the Fleece, instead of the Microsuede, so many decisions.

I’ve had trouble with slippers since the stroke – my foot doesn’t go down properly so they get crudded up – but I have had some lined Crocs these last couple of years. It’s cold here in winter.

I spent a winter in Scotland.

That’s generally colder than here – I’m close to the south coast and we always avoid the worst weather. About 50F today, if my mental arithmetic is okay.

Great post.
I think brown, unless it clashes with the rug.

I’ve never heard that song before. That one is an oldie that is for sure…1879.
I don’t like wearing slippers walking down steps…I’ve slipped too many times.

I will not be going down any stairs wearing my slippers, this is couch potato gear.
