Billionaires are known for finding loopholes that let them pay less than their fair share of taxes.  Many billionaires like Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk, Michael Bloomberg, George Soros, Warren Buffett, Bill Gates, Rupert Murdoch, and Mark Zuckerberg pay little in income tax compared to their massive wealth and sometimes they get away with paying nothing.  Many Americans live paycheck to paycheck, amassing little wealth and paying the federal government a percentage of their income that rises if they earn more.  In recent years, the median American household earned about $70,000 annually and paid 14% in federal taxes.  This election will be a choice between two fundamentally different visions for the economy and our country.  Joe Biden is fighting to lower costs and cut taxes for middle-class families, while Trump is fighting for his billionaire donors, who like him, are only in it for themselves.

Biden had a dismal performance last night at the debate, but he was honest, and he tried to answer the questions that were posed, unlike Trump who came with his own agenda and twisted every topic to be about the border and then told lie after lie.  This debate did not change my mind, but it did show me how bad things could end up being.  Everything will change for the worse if Trump becomes the next president, as the word truth will disappear from our dictionaries along with many other words like dignity, and freedom.  Women will not be the only group of people losing their right to choose, as Trump bragged about how he enjoys firing people and anyone that speaks out against him will be in jeopardy.  The Evangelical Christians will be happy when he makes a law that says the Bible must be displayed everywhere in America, but when Trump amends it to add a new chapter all about himself and how he has saved America from the Radical Left, I am not so sure that will sit well with them.
