Thursday Inspiration #234 No Matter What

Respond to this challenge, by either using the prompt word nothing, or going with the above picture, or by means of the song ‘No Matter What’, or by going with another song by Badfinger, or any other song about a guy who declares his love for the girl he wants in his life, or you can go with anything else that you think fits.  Pete Ham the lead singer of Badfinger wrote this song which peaked at #8 on the Billboard 100 and it went to #5 in the UK and was released om what can be thought of as their 1970 third studio album No Dice.  This is a love song where the guy says that no matter what this girl is, what she does, or where she goes, that he wants to be with her.  They may be having trouble communicating with each other, or she might be acting distant with him, as he asks her to tell him what she found.  This is typical in many relationships, as most men have trouble figuring out what women want, so he tells her to, “Knock down the old grey wall” and “Be a part of it all.”  He might figure that she has a fear of intimacy and therefor he has nothing to say, figures that there is nothing to see, and it is probably best if he does nothing hoping to improve their relationship.  He asks her to give him all of her love and he says that he will do the same for her.  By asking her to open up her heart to him, and saying, “Nothing would be”, he is indicating that he is ready to detach himself from all that exists and stop imagining or seeking anything, because he knows that there will be a place for them to be together.

Nothing to say, nothing to see, nothing to do
If you would give me all
As I would give it to you
Nothing would be, nothing would be, nothing would be
