Dead 25 Years

Jerry Garcia was 53 years old when his long, strange trip came to an end, on August 9, 1995, and I thought that I would commemorate this great guitarist with a tribute modeled after what I saw on Hack’s Back pages last Friday where he made a quiz out of song lyrics from the Beatles.  I made a list of 41 Grateful Dead songs that Jerry sings lead vocals in and I will give you one line in the lyrics and you will try to name the song, without looking it up on Google, or asking Cortina, or Siri or Alexa.  Just like what Hack did for the Beatles, I will divide these songs up into three categories, easy, intermediate and difficult and you can attempt either one, or try all three.  I will create another blog post later on Monday with the quiz answers so you can see how you did.  If you desire, you can submit your answers in the comments section at the bottom of this post.
