Repeat Till Done

Morning sex
Morning my friend
Friend indeed
Friend forever
Forever and ever
Forever mine
Mine for all eternity
Mine exclusively
Exclusively modern
Exclusively hip
Hip hop
Hip replacement
Replacement lover
Replacement found
Found out
Found a way
Way to go
Way too much
Much alike
Much more clear
Clear example
Clear up
Up yours
Up and away
Away from home
Away all the time
Time out
Time rules
Rules broken
Rules apply
Apply sparingly
Apply often
Often late
Often sick
Sick of it
Sick of her
Her body
Her arms
Arms lifted
Arms hanging down
Down with everything
Down the drain
Drain the swamp
Drain their power
Power on
Power of love
Love conquers all
Love affair
Affair
All

Blitz poem written for Paula Light.

Word Games

A
Do me
She was out
Back home with Dick
Birds began being crazy happy
Garlic bagels called fatter haters living
Toenail monster special dancing routine amazing courage

The idea is to write something which does not have to make all that much sense, but the first lone contains 1 one letter word, and the second line has 2 two letter words and so on.  I saw Yves of Mindlovemisery’s Menagerie do this in her post today and she encouraged others to try it.

Sadness

Life can be so harsh
There is evil in the world
Tears run from my eyes

Pain and suffering
Eventually we die
Never to return

Memories haunt me
Nothing good comes out of it
Why can’t people change

Written for Mindlovemisery’s Menagerie Heeding Haiku With Chèvrefeuille, September 11th 2019, sadness.

Holy Island Batman

Holy mackerel
We are in real trouble now
Holy cannoli

Lindisfarne Castle
Batman, what do we do now
Cut off from the world

On the “Batman” TV series, which ran for 120 episodes between 1966 and 1968, Batman’s sidekick Robin (played by Burt Ward), was well known for his ever-changing exclamation catchphrase that would always begin with the word “holy”.  The second part of the exclamation would always involve something related to what Robin was shouting about in that episode.

The Sacred Waterfall

Creative life force
Plummeting waters worshiped
Clean running water

Pristine water shrine
A place for spirits to rest
Devine unity

Beauty of nature
Under the pounding cascade
Spectacular setting

Tranquil atmosphere
Moving body of water
Cleansing and soothing

Elegant shower
Hydroelectric power
Creating rainbows

Written for Mindlovemisery’s Menagerie Heeding Haiku With Chèvrefeuille, August 28th 2019, waterfall.

I Am Feeling Some Love

Love is all around
Without love there is nothing
Celebrate romance

Spending time together
Top of the Eiffel Tower
The scent of flowers

Only one for me
Lovers at Niagara Falls
Love is possible

Triggered by pheromones
Contagious positive vibe
In love forever

Written for Mindlovemisery’s Menagerie Heeding Haiku With Chèvrefeuille, August 21st 2019, love ultimate.
