Paula has a new challenge that balances out her Monday Peeve, so since the antonym of peeve is delight, joy, or pleasure, she is now hosting the TGIF, Thank God It’s Friday, where instead of complaining, you say what made you happy. I was just selected to be part of the elite group of WordPress bloggers to be listed in the Who’s Who of bloggers, but I am declining the offer because they want me to pay $50 to be included in this group. Sorry, this is just a joke, but sometimes you have to make yourself laugh. I went to my doctor the other day and she was happy that my blood sugar went up a half a point from 6.9 to 7.4, feeling that my A1C is very well controlled, so as Fandango says, “Whatever floats your boat.” I talked with her about this pain that I am getting in my left elbow which I think is bursitis and she said that I could get a corticosteroid injection which might make the pain go away for a month or a few months or maybe even forever, so that is good news. I looked this up on Google and found out that cortisone shots typically cost roughly $100 to 300 but can be more than $1,000, and that my insurance may cover some or all of the cost. She also told me that I could try eating peanuts again as long as I have Benadryl handy, in case I get another reaction. She did order an allergy check to be included with my next blood workup, but that won’t be till September.
Written for Paula’s TGIF challenge.

It is a pretty easy challenge to write in, as everyone probably has something that makes them happy.

I had a letter from my doctor yesterday asking me to book an appointment to see him asap. It’s probably the result of my recent blood test. I just hope it’s not going to be bad news.
