Madonna acted in at least 41 films including twenty-seven feature films ten short films, and three theatrical plays. She was in ten television episodes, and she appeared in sixteen commercials. Some of her movies are Desperately Seeking Susan (1985), A League of Their Own (1992), Body of Evidence (1993), Swept Away (2002), Arthur and the Invisibles (2006), and Madame X (2021). She also starred opposite her then-husband actor Sean Penn in the adventure drama Shanghai Surprise (1986), which was panned by critics and earned Madonna her first Golden Raspberry Award for Worst Actress.

You know, I went to college with a woman who said much the same thing. I never did that, I was a young child when my mother took me to see the original one, but I get why it would be mind blowing to do!
