I used to be more adventurous when I was younger, but now I am more of a stick my toe in the water type of guy, instead of jumping right in. I basically stay with the foods that I like, but when I travel, I do like to try the local cuisine. When I was in Brazil, I tried pastel (deep fried dough filled with assorted items) and churrascaria dining, which consists of barbecued meats, and both were great. I tried some Haggis in Scotland and that was pretty adventurous, as I knew how it was made. I did some things when I was younger, that I would not do again, like diving off of a cliff, or driving my car down a hill that was made for sleigh riding.
I think that an old dog can be taught new tricks, but I am pretty much set in my ways now and it would take a lot of convincing to get me out of my comfort zone. I don’t crave danger, or look for unusual experiences, or try stuff that I think is risky. I am not a thrill seeker or an adrenaline junkie, as I consider myself to be a survivalist. I don’t want to get hurt, as at my age, it takes a lot longer for my body to heal. I am not against spicing things up in the bedroom, but I have no desire to participate in an orgy. My idea of being adventurous would probably relate to having sex, where I was being frisky at a different time of the day other than at night, or doing it in another room besides the bedroom, or trying out a new position other than what I would normally do. I guess this makes me a pretty boring person.
