Happy Feet

What inanimate object do you wish you could eliminate from existence?
Years ago, there was a need for the peephole in a door, so visitors could be identified before the door is opened, but with the advent of the ring doorbell camera, they have become pointless.

What tells you the most about a person?
I can tell a lot by a person’s manners, whether or not I want to associate with them.

What is something you thought would be easy until you tried it?
I thought that Snuba was going to be fun and easy, but my ears were not able to adjust to the pressure, so I gave up after one try.

What ridiculous and untrue, yet slightly plausible, theories can you come up with for the cause of common ailments like headaches or cavities?
I have a tendency to ignore pain and if I do that long enough, it usually goes away.

I am happy that I have a foot doctor now.  I told my regular doctor that my toenails were turning yellow and she gave me a referral to a pediatrist.  I told my pediatrist that I had clear nail polish put on my toenails the last year when I went to the nail salon and she used a Dremel on my toe nails to get rid of the old polish that had yellowed and she said there was nothing wrong with my feet.

  1. Thank you Jim for Sharing Your World! I was baffled by “Snuba” too, so I Googled it. You were brave to even attempt that. But probably you can swim, which is no doubt a requisite for doing the activity in the first place. I can’t swim at all well, and I have claustrophobia to a degree, so any type of scuba or snorkeling is out for me. It sounds like it might have been fun though? I’m sorry it didn’t live up to expectations! I have a peephole in my door, I don’t want one of those camera things. Ziggy is a good enough alarm system in any case. And the magpie who has decided my front porch is its home and drops great big bird poos on anyone and anything underneath. I don’t think any thieves will be trying to steal stuff off my porch. Bird shit is hard to wash out of one’s hair and clothing. 😉 Great news about your toenails, hmm? It could have been fungus, which I understand is really nasty and hard to get rid of. One polish and you were done! Wonderful! Have an amazing week!

      1. It’s harder than it looks…every drummer I’ve played with….or most held them differently but it’s being consistent that is hard.
