A dog was caught in the bog with a hog and there was smog.
He went to Prague for a jog with a frog and then indulged in some grog with eggnog.
The next day he had hair of the dog and then looked for a yule log.
It was a had slog to get that log back home, so he ate a chili dog before he wrote the epilogue.
He decided that he would catalogue the dialogue for his monologue.
The cog helps the wheels on the bus to go round and round.
Written for Mindlovemisery’s Menagerie Saturday Mix Rhyme Time hosted by weejars aka Sarah where she asks us to use the following rhyming words, dog, hog, bog, smog, slog and cog.
You got them all in and more Jim! ☺️

It’s not easy trying to find a hog out in the fog. No, I wasn’t going to give it a snog.

Yes I had trouble trying to unclog the backlog on my blog while I was in the gulag.

I had no idea what you were referring to Paul till I looked it up and saw that a clever clogs is a saying that is used in the UK, and Australia.

Yes, but a snide rejoinder, hence the not. 🙂
