I never had to say that phrase, because I never worked in a fast food joint. I don’t make a lot of sandwiches, but when I do, it is something easy, like a peanut butter with Polaner All Fruit cherry and don’t you call it jelly, or a Star Kist Tuna Creations Deli Style packet, or a grilled cheese sandwich which I have a special recipe for making them, but although these will do in a pinch, they are not my favorite sandwiches. Dr. Tanya asks what are our five favorite sandwiches today and I will list them for you.
I will start off with breakfast and my favorite is the McDonald’s Sausage, Egg & Cheese McGriddle, because it is like a pancake where you get the maple flavor and you get your sausage, egg & cheese also with that. You can skip the hash browns as they are usually too greasy, but only Dunkin Donuts makes coffee as good as McDonald’s, so order a cup of that.
I like the Reuben sandwich at Arby’s, which is made with marbled rye bread filled with freshly sliced corned beef, melty Swiss Cheese, tangy sauerkraut and creamy Thousand Island dressing. It is a good idea to order the curly fries to go with this sandwich.
I also like the Steak and Shake Frisco Melt, which is a double burger situated between two pieces of sourdough bread, with two different cheeses and a tangy sauce. Yum and I usually order a strawberry shake with this!
Jersey Mike’s Subs makes a great cheesesteak and I like mine with peppers, & American cheese, but without onions.
I like the Dave’s double cheeseburger at Wendy’s which is a half-pound of hot n’ juicy beef, cheese, crisp lettuce, tomato, pickle, ketchup, mayo, on a toasted bun, but I always make sure to order mine without the onion. The baked potato is also really good, as well is the chili.
