The bishop’s wife stood beneath the ledge having mixed feelings about the long journey that lay ahead of her. She was in need of a hiatus from her normal routine of leading the regular group in rosary prayer and leading the choir in song. She had studied the theoretical implications of being poor, but she had no experience, having been born with a silver spoon in her mouth. She learned that 383 million people in Africa live in extreme poverty, a thought that would permanently register in her brain. She really wanted to help, in spite of her fear of flying and that was the only rational way to get to Africa. She knew that there were dangerous animals there that might sting and bite, but her desire to feel the rains down in Africa won out in making her decision to go.

My pleasure Di and this is probably the shortest multi prompt post that I ever wrote.

I just found out yesterday that one of my closest cousin’s half sisters lives in Africa as part of a mission. She has five children (one adopted) and had a very short time (less than a day) with her first child (which would have made six). One thing I know she and her family help with is staving off malaria.
