I went through a rough time buying a new computer this week, but that is nothing compared to purchasing a house. Besides getting the right house, you also have to consider the property to see if it will allow you to have a garden or a swimming pool and you need to think if it is the right place for your kids and your pets. I figure that every house needs to have a floor, a roof and walls, but it is also a good idea to have a door and some windows.
Last week was a lot of fun for me again and I enjoy seeing what songs everyone will come up with. Song Lyric Sunday is mostly about having fun and sharing your music with others. Tell a story, post a video, show the lyrics, but most important, make sure that you have fun. I feel that everyone should be able to find a song that fits the prompt Floor/House/Roof/Walls. Try to find a song that fits the prompt, then write your post and please be patient, and wait for me to approve your pingbacks, or you can just place your link in the comments section.
Here are the “rules”:
- Post the lyrics to the song of your choice, whether it fits the theme or not. If it does not fit, then please explain why you chose this song.
- Please try to include the songwriter(s) – it’s a good idea to give credit where credit is due.
- Make sure you also credit the singer/band and if you desire you can provide a link to where you found the lyrics.
- Link to the YouTube video, or pull it into your post so others can listen to the song.
- Ping back to this post will eventually work, as long as you are being patient, but you can also place your link in the comments if you don’t like to wait.
- Read at least one other person’s blog, so we can all share new and fantastic music and create amazing new blogging friends in the process.
- Feel free to suggest future prompts.
- Have fun and enjoy the music.
I am writing about the song ‘Greatest Story Ever Told’ by the Grateful Dead this week. Next week I will write about ‘These Boots Are Made For Walking’ by the Nancy Sinatra. The upcoming prompts will be:
September 22, 2019 – Clothing/Hat/Pants/Scarf/Shirt/Shoes/Tie
September 29, 2019 – Train songs
October 6, 2019 – Bus/Truck/Lorry
October 13, 2019 – Drifter/Loner/Vagabond
It’s really frustrating to be without a properly working computer at home. I didn’t have one for a while until my kids fixed up this VOM for me. I still prefer my drowned Samsung though. Oh well!

This computer still functions and maybe the buzzing will stop, but I am looking forward to getting a new one.

It’s probably a fan going bad.

I had a new power supply put in and I think that is what is humming. I have had several other problems with it lately and it is 10 years old and still has Windows 7, so it is time for an upgrade.

Maybe the song should be ‘Tear Down the Wall’ … as a stress-management strategy!

I actually found two songs with that title, but I never listened to either one. Hillsong United and Kix from their Hot Wire album both have a song Tear Down The Walls.
