Growing Our Garden

The world is not made out of sugar cake
Thinking that way is a big mistake
Life is not easy, it takes work, lots of it
Growing a garden is the same, you must commit
Let me wander in your garden and plant the seeds of love
God will watch over both of us from high above
We can pray for rain and use a rake and a hoe
We may get some help from the worms below
I will plant our garden and together we will make it grow
We’ll plant tomatoes where we buried Ross Perot
There you go, tallyho and then we will plant oregano
The wind will blow and scare away that crow
