Shoot To Kill

“Take the gun”, said Eileen, “it is loaded and the safety is off.  That rooster needs to be changed into a hen for the way he treated you.  This was never a boy meets girl, boy chases girl, girl lets him catch her, and they live happily ever after story, because once his conquest was over, you were the only one to make a comment to the relationship.  He loved the chase and you loved the excitement of being chased, but he only gave you enough to keep you hanging on.  He only kept you around to collect the benefits of having a girlfriend.”

“How didn’t I know?  How could I be so dumb?  Why did it take me so long to see this?  I really hate him”, said Debbie.  “I have to make him pay, so I can get past all of this pain.  I am not sure if this gun is the right idea, but I do need to retaliate.”  Eileen said, “We could go out to that new club that just opened up and you could hook up with another guy and have some rebound sex, as that would prevent you from sinking into a depression.  My mom always said that the best way to get over somebody is to get under somebody else.  It is totally normal to use your god given assets to feel better so you can move on and this would be much better than indulging in quart after quart of Ben & Jerry’s.”

Debbie said, “I still can’t believe that he gave me that line ‘It’s not you, it’s me’, because that just told me that he was not ready for a commitment.  Guys will say anything to get into our pants, all that flattery he used was just a ploy and the next guy that I am with I will make sure that I read between the lines that he throws at me, so I don’t get manipulated again.  He promised me love, but he wasn’t capable of developing deeper feelings beyond getting his rocks off.  What a jerk I was, as I actually thought that by sleeping with him that would make him like me more.  Everything that he said was just a load of crap, so he could get laid.”
