Who Does Your Hair

Stheno, Euryale, and Medusa the Gorgon sisters were chatting over tea and Stheno said, “Men can come and go, and eventually they will all break your heart, but sisters make the best friends in the world.  Life is a beautiful thing and we all have a lot to smile about.”  Euryale said, “My dear sisters, looking at both of you is like looking in a mirror shining back at me, although I know better than to try and ever do that, but when we are together I see a world of possibilities, however some days you are the reason that I wish I was an only child.”  Medusa said, “Please eat the fruit that I put out for you and don’t worry about it being poison, as it is not in my instinct to ever harm either of you.”

Stheno grabbed a cherry and thanked her sister for her hospitality and then she said, “I feel empathy for you since you got caught out in the hail and three of your snakes died.  Last year I had one of my snakes freeze to death when I get stuck out in the snow.  I had to pull it out by the roots and throw it in the incinerator.”  Medusa said, “Euryale your hair is looking rather spiffy today, what is your secret?”  Euryale replied, “I just discovered a new technique that I will share with you.  At night I wrap up all of my snakes with a belt, which helps me sleep better and then the first thing in the morning I go to the cell where I keep rats and then I feed my snakes.  You girls should definitely try this.
