Rodney Dangerfield Of Presidents

President Trump told reporters that China respects him for his ‘very, very large brain’.  Trump suggests that reporters will risk their credentials if they do not treat the White House and the presidency with respect.  Trump said, “As far as I am concerned, I haven’t made that decision (concerning when or if Jim Acosta will get back his press pass).  But it could be others also,” he said. “When you are in the White House, this is a very sacred place to me, a very special place. You have to treat the White House with respect, you have to treat the presidency with respect.”  This rattlesnake does not give respect to anyone or anything, excepting the ones who are wearing those damn red MAGA hats.  He has not learned that respect is earned and that you have to give respect to get respect.

  1. This. Every time he talks about how he’s owed respect my blood pressure goes up. As far as I’m concerned, the fact that those reporters still show up every day and TRY to do their jobs despite almost two years of aggressive deception — well, it doesn’t get more respectful of the office than that.
