  1. Go! Better to be safe. Just watched the news of a group of 8 neighbors who decided to stay. The guy waved to the camera “wish us luck”. I wish him luck but hoping he doesn’t need luck to make it through safely.

      1. I never think about Sandi, as I did not get close with her the way you did. I rode Irma out and had some branches come down on my trees and lost the cable TV, but other than high winds and a lot of rain I was lucky.

      2. You still have Netflix.. Watch Aggretsuko.. An anime adaption from Japan, you will laugh hysterically.. And I know you rode it out, as you made me worried while it hit Florida, but thankfully you posted about it.. When it was over.

    1. Ok Hamlet
      that is the question:
Whether ’tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune,
Or to take arms against a sea of troubles
And by opposing end them. To die—to sleep,
No more; and by a sleep to say we end

  2. I have multiple factors to consider including 2 old dogs with issues. If I only had one dog or if I lived on the beach, I would go to the mountains. Having weathered many hurricanes (some CAT 3) makes me more likely to stay. I just heard she’s a category 3 now. Still risky.

      1. I hope your sister will be okay. It looks like tomorrow will be the beginning and things will really pick up early Friday. I hear most stores are already closed, so not much left in the way of supplies.

      2. Thanks for your concern about my sister. She is several hundred miles from the cost, so I am pretty sure she will be OK. It is a good excuse for me to call her as I don’t do that very often and I need to catch up on a few things.
