Every night I watched TV and she would knit. She said that it was good for her nerves and it gave her something to do with her hands. I remember when I quit smoking cigarettes, I didn’t know what to do with my hands. I felt fidgety, but eventually I got over that.
The special needles that she used to join her yarn together were crochet needles, so her knitting was actually crocheting. The thing that amazed me the most was that she never actually ever finished anything. She would put hours upon hours into her knitting and then she would say that she did not like the way it was turning out. Upon reaching this conclusion, she would pull everything apart and then start all over again.
Sound like my wife.

I won’t let my wife see this or you’ll get the lecture about the difference between knitting and crocheting, both of which she does, and rather spectacularly, I might add…
